From November 11 to 12, 2022, the 2nd Carbon Neutrality Boao Conference was held at the Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center in Hainan. This conference was jointly organized by the China Energy Conservation Association and the China Quality Certification Center, with the theme "Carbon Neutrality - Planning and Layout from an International Perspective."
This conference focused on the global consensus and measures to address climate change, the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and China's peak carbon and carbon neutrality top-level design; it explored how regions and enterprises can strategically transform and position themselves under the vision of carbon neutrality to seize the commanding heights of industrial transformation and enhance competitiveness; it aimed to lead technological innovation and industrial transformation, promote the transformation and upgrading of the energy structure, jointly pursue green development, and create a low-carbon lifestyle.
As an outstanding enterprise representative in physical foaming, Da Mao Niu has achieved "zero emissions, zero residues, zero sediment, zero pollution" in its production process. Some products have even achieved 100% "recyclable, renewable, and degradable," thoroughly solving the huge problems of VOC pollution, product formamide residues, high energy consumption, and environmental unfriendliness in the foaming industry. It has broad application prospects in automotive aviation, cold chain transportation, sports and outdoor, building decoration, and lightweighting, leading the industry towards carbon neutrality. Driven by a sense of mission, it strives tirelessly to "make the Earth greener, low-carbon, and sustainable." Da Mao Niu, as an outstanding enterprise representative in the field of carbon neutrality, won the "Excellent Solution for Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" award at this conference and is currently the only polymer foaming enterprise nationwide to receive this honor.
This conference pointed out that technological innovation has become the key path to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality. We will continue to creatively optimize process costs, increase investment in customized energy-saving devices with independent intellectual property rights, and insist on not using any chemical additives in the production process. The nitrogen stripped from the air is recycled at over 90% under 65Mpa ultra-high pressure, greatly improving the reuse efficiency of energy required for nitrogen production/pressurization/emission by several times and saving energy consumption. In the future, we will continue to improve the technological content, leading foaming enterprises towards green, environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and sustainable development.
