Zhang Yuanting, Chairwoman of Guangdong Damao Niu, personally welcomed the delegation and escorted them on a tour of the group’s headquarters building, factory grounds, and production workshops. The company’s robust technological capabilities and impressive scale of operations left the visitors deeply impressed, with one remark: “Seeing is believing—Damao Niu’s technology and scale far exceed our expectations!”
During the symposium, the two sides reviewed the establishment in December last year of the “Polymer Materials Research Fund” by Damao Niu New Materials Group and Renmin University of China, which marked the launch of comprehensive cooperation and the concurrent advancement of the development of two core platforms.
Damaoniu Group and Renmin University of China are deeply committed to the green new materials sector, advancing the deep integration of industry, academia, and research through initiatives ranging from fund donations to joint platform development. Together, they are fully implementing the national strategy for building a powerhouse in new materials and the “dual carbon” goals, striving for win-win development.

This visit marks a significant milestone in university–enterprise collaboration. Moving forward, the two parties will take the Xiong’an Joint Laboratory as the core platform to further deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, focus on tackling key technological challenges and translating research outcomes into practical applications, and harness the combined strengths of the university and enterprise to inject strong momentum into the green manufacturing of polymers and the green, high-quality development of the new materials industry.
