On March 6, Yu Ligang, Director of the Finance and Economic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress and Director of the Budget Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, along with Zhou Xiugun, Second-Level Inspector and Chief Accountant of the Provincial Department of Finance, led a research team from the Provincial People’s Congress and the Provincial Department of Finance to conduct an on-site inspection and investigation at Guangdong Damao Niu New Materials Co., Ltd. The team gained a deep understanding of the company’s actual operations and provided targeted support for its high‑quality development. Liu Zhongfang, Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Zhanjiang Municipal People’s Congress, together with Wei Xiaoyan, Li Xiaojun, Chen Xiaohua, and responsible officials from relevant departments at all levels, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit. Bai Peng, Chairman of the Damao Niu Group, warmly received the team on behalf of the company and provided full-time accompaniment during the entire research process.
During the调研, Chairman Bai Peng provided the research team with a detailed overview of the company’s development journey, its R&D capabilities, and its industrial layout plan. He focused on reporting the company’s core technological strengths—leveraging globally leading “ultra-low-density physical foaming” mass production technology to successfully break international technology monopolies. The company’s products are widely used in multiple fields including footwear materials, medical applications, automotive, and new energy; moreover, some of its products are even employed in thermal insulation systems for the China Antarctic Expedition’s clothing stations, fully demonstrating the robust capabilities of domestically produced new materials.
Subsequently, under the leadership of Chairman Bai Peng, the research team conducted an in-depth visit to the company’s production workshops, immersing themselves in the operational status of each production stage while meticulously inquiring about production processes, equipment maintenance and operations, capacity planning, and the implementation of green production practices. Drawing on the actual production environment, Chairman Bai Peng explained the company’s “zero emissions, recyclable” green production philosophy and outlined the progress made in building a zero‑carbon factory, demonstrating the company’s unwavering commitment to pursuing low‑carbon, sustainable development.
