On the morning of October 20, the Cold Chain Professional Committee of Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association held in Ganyu District, Lianyungang City at the 2023 Jiangsu Province Logistics Enterprise Financial Docking and Ecological Construction Promotion Conference was officially inaugurated.
At the meeting, the Vice President of Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association 、 General Manager of Jiangsu Damaoniu New Materials Co., Ltd. Zhang Yuanting read out the Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association's "Approval for the Establishment of the Cold Chain Professional Committee," announcing the Cold Chain Professional Committee appointment list: rotating chairman Wei Gang, Chairman of Ruigang Dairy, Bai Yuanlong, Secretary-General Li Qi, Supervisor Zhou Jiansi. 。
Representatives from Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association, Jiangsu Logistics and Supply Chain Research Institute, and other units unveiled the Cold Chain Professional Committee. 
Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association is an industry exchange and supply-demand promotion platform established under the guidance of Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, integrating logistics resources inside and outside the province, aiming to provide precise and high-quality services for logistics parks and logistics enterprises within the province.
The Cold Chain Professional Committee is a subordinate organization of Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association established within the scope of its constitution and business, specializing in cold chain logistics activities and forming part of the association. The Cold Chain Professional Committee will build an open communication platform and improve the efficiency of Jiangsu's cold chain industry through six aspects: special services, standard certification, cooperation promotion, exhibitions, evaluation certification, and market communication, promoting the development of Jiangsu's cold chain industry. Based on research and promotion of national policies and regulations, the committee will also assist local governments and member enterprises in providing cold chain application-related service solutions, driving high-quality logistics development across the province.
Li Qi, Secretary-General of the Cold Chain Professional Committee of Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association, stated, "The 'dual circulation' and 'dual upgrading' have expanded new development space for cold chain logistics. The Cold Chain Professional Committee of Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association will build an open public service communication platform to fully support Jiangsu's cold chain industry, integrate resource allocation for logistics industry development, build supply-demand platforms, better serve cold chain logistics enterprises, and create an industry ecosystem." 
In addition, the meeting invited Feng Bo, Executive Deputy District Mayor of Ganyu District, Lianyungang City, and Zhao Chuanren, General Manager of Changzhou New Sunshine Real Estate Co., Ltd., to respectively promote key intelligent cold chain logistics projects: Lianyungang Urban Development Smart Cold Chain Logistics Complex Project and Changzhou National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base. Representatives from 8 upstream and downstream logistics industry enterprises including Nanjing Ruigang Dairy, Wanwei Logistics, Damaoniu New Materials, Zhenjiang Hongfang Logistics, Suzhou Jinhong Gas, Nanjing Fresh Cold Logistics, Kelujiang (Jiangsu) Cold Chain Technology, and Nanjing Zhonghong Equipment, Representatives from 8 upstream and downstream logistics industry enterprises, along with logistics ecosystem partners including the Jiangsu Logistics Industry Promotion Association, PICC, JD Technology, Dacheng Law Firm, Chainku, Zhonglian Central Kitchen Research Institute, and Nanjing Xiaozhuang University, signed agreements on site.
