On December 6, 2023, the inaugural Jiangsu Young Women Scientists Award Ceremony and the 2023 Jiangsu Women in Science and Technology Innovation Competition Outstanding Projects Report Meeting were held in Nanjing. Shen Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Provincial Organization Department, attended and delivered a speech. 
This year In May, the "Smart Innovation Her Era & Striving for a New Journey" — 2023 Jiangsu Women in Science and Technology Innovation Competition, jointly organized by the Provincial Talent Office, Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Provincial Department of Commerce, Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Provincial Women's Federation, and Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, successfully concluded. Zhang Yuanting, General Manager of Jiangsu Damaoniu New Materials Co., Ltd., won first place in the competition, and the project "Ultra-low Density Physical Foaming New Material" won the Most Commercially Valuable Award.
