Deepening the integration of industry, academia, and research to jointly cultivate new materials talent—Damaoni Group and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics' School of Materials Launch Collaborative Exchange



  To deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research and to build a new ecosystem for collaborative talent development between universities and enterprises, on July 23, Bai Peng, Chairman of Damao Niu Group, and Zhang Yuanting, General Manager, warmly welcomed a delegation led by Zhang Yali, Secretary of the Party Committee from the School of Materials Science and Technology at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Also joining the exchange were Zhuang Xiaoshu, Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee; Shen Laifa, Vice Dean; Professors Chen Zhaofeng and Associate Professor Yang Lixia from the Department of Materials Processing; as well as counselors and representatives of graduating graduate students from the class of 2025.

  

 

  Company management accompanied faculty and students from the university on a tour of the state-of-the-art production facility, where they were given a comprehensive overview of Damao Niu’s development journey, key product R&D achievements, and prestigious certifications. The focus was on highlighting the company’s groundbreaking advancements in supercritical fluid foaming technology (SCF) and the wide-ranging applications of its six flagship product lines. Damao Niu also shared compelling success stories showcasing how its SCF technology has supported cutting-edge national projects such as China’s Antarctic scientific expeditions and Pfizer’s medical manufacturing initiatives, as well as numerous other high-profile applications both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the company provided an in-depth look at its strategic roadmap for driving technological innovation, optimizing product portfolios, and shaping its future growth trajectory—inspiring the Southern Airlines faculty and students to witness firsthand Damao Niu’s dynamic spirit of innovation at the forefront of materials science and its strong market leadership.

  During the subsequent symposium, Chairman Bai Peng and General Manager Zhang Yuanting warmly welcomed the delegation from the college. The company attentively listened to Secretary Zhang Yali’s presentation on the School of Materials at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, covering its discipline development, faculty strengths, and graduate profiles. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on their shared interests in key areas such as scientific research and development directions, as well as potential applications of emerging technologies. They also focused their discussions on practical and constructive topics, including industry-academia-research collaborative innovation, the establishment of student internship and practice bases, customized talent cultivation programs tailored to corporate needs, and recruitment strategies for fresh graduates.
